William Harris
Head of Global Research & Investment Strategy
William Harris is the Global Head of Research and Investment Strategy at AIvest
Securities, focusing on economic and statistical analysis of portfolio data, asset
prices, and overall global economic trends. He is based in Washington, DC. Mr.
William Harris serves as an economic advisor to Carlyle’s Private Equity, Real
Estate, and Credit Investment Committees. His research helps identify new investment
opportunities, advance strategic initiatives and corporate development, and provide
support to Carlyle’s investors. Prior to joining AIvest Securities, Mr. William
Harris served as Vice President of Research for the Private Equity Committee.
William Harris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Claremont McKenna College and a
Masters and Doctorate in Finance from George Washington University, where he studied
at the Bank of America Foundation, the Leo and Lillian Goodwin Foundation, and the
College of Business Fellowship. William Harris is a Chartered Financial Analyst and
a Certified Financial Risk Manager through the Global Association of Risk
Professionals.
